Who is Mr Sister?

I was raised in the land of the Dreaming. I was very fortunate to connect with the land from a very early age, and got to spend countless days exploring out in the bush and swimming in some of the most pristine ocean waters on this planet. My imagination has been my guide all along.
As a Producer and Filmmaker, it is an indescribable feeling getting to set after weeks of prep and watching everyone show up, all with the same intention of building a world from scratch, each person contributing to the collective.
A million things can go wrong, but holding steady, the vision that everything will go smoothly, trusting the creative process as it unfolds, aware that there is a way through every challenge.
The moment cut gets called for the last time, the world that was created for that exact moment in time and space, begins to dissolve again. It is magic and it is fueled by imagination.
Five year old me, sitting at the beach in Perth, dreaming of making movies in California could not have pictured exactly how it would all unfold, but it is my reverence and devotion to my imagination that has led me here today.
I am so excited for this next chapter, and I can’t wait to make magic with you.

Seth Naugle
Growing up, my Bengali mother and engineer father didn’t expressly prohibit a career in the arts, but the option wasn’t the faintest glimmer in my head. Senior year of high school rolls around, in walks Fight Club, The Matrix, psilocybin, and the crown jewel - a subversive film teacher, who later takes me to Sony Pictures LA. Until that trip, it hadn’t dawned on me that real people make movies, and it was actually their JOB. I spontaneously ditched my engineering scholarship to take a $100k gamble on private art school.
About a thousand shoots, at least a dozen countries, and two Emmy noms later (one win actually), I realize it’s the people that excite me, just as they did in 2007. Films, and the crews that create them, are able to capture the infinite complexity of life and orchestrate it onto a film strip. It is this fact that compels me to pour myself endlessly into this medium.
The story of life is ever unfolding and it’s our creative duty to share it honestly!
The story of Mr. Sister begins in Topanga Canyon, where an unlikely meeting led us to a lifetime of trust and partnership. We were raised 9318 miles apart, but arrived to LA with the same goal - to express ourselves through film and enjoy lives. Although we were close friends for the first decade, our careers developed independently, in very different avenues of the industry. We finally created a series together in 2023, and quickly recognized our professional values were congruent - we show up each day with absolute dedication to quality, maintaining kindness and joy every step of the way. With the ever changing landscape of our industry, we wanted to ensure we could bring these values to each and every production moving forward, so joining forces became the obvious way to honor the art form, and all the people involved.
